WHAT’S YOUR WHY?
We all have questions about a variety of topics, situations and ideas pertaining to life, faith and God. WHY? is about creating a welcoming, friendly place where people can come and ask questions to explore the Christian faith through an in-person setting.
There’s no pressure, no follow-up and no charge; it’s just an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together. We will meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm to have a snack, watch a video and chat about it.
The videos are designed to be engaging and inspire conversation. Usually, around 20 minutes long, they explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions like "Why should I read the Bible?”, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to me?”, “Why am I here on earth?” and "Can I really trust what the Bible says?"
The time after the video is probably the most important part of any WHY? session: the chance to share thoughts and ideas about the talk without being corrected or judged. There’s no obligation to say anything; it’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective.
